Four Products. One System.
Lipé Detox Pack | NAC Plus + Flora Balance + Volcanic Detox + Everyday Support
If you have read the individual product posts for Lipé NAC Plus, Flora Balance, Volcanic Detox, and Everyday Support, you already know what each one does on its own. Here, we look at why Dr. Jonie recommends them together as a protocol, and why the combination may produce something more than the sum of its parts.
Detoxing for lipedema is not a single action. It is a process that involves clearing what should not be in the body, restoring what is missing, supporting the gut environment that governs absorption and inflammation, and addressing the systemic inflammation that can impair drainage. Each of those things is a separate job. The four products in the Lipé Detox Protocol each take on one of those jobs.
Why Detoxing Matters for Lipedema
The word detox gets used loosely in wellness circles, but in the context of lipedema it has a specific clinical meaning. Detoxing for lipedema means systematically reducing the inflammatory triggers that may be fueling the condition. Supplements help support the detoxing process alongside lifestyle changes
Lipedema may progress when inflammation meets stagnant lymphatic fluid. That combination can stimulate fat cells to grow and multiply, and causes the connective tissue around them to harden and fibrose. The goal of the detox protocol is to reduce that inflammatory load from as many angles as possible: clearing heavy metals and toxins from the tissue, supporting gut health so the gut-lymphatic axis functions properly, correcting nutritional deficiencies that are quietly undermining immune and thyroid function, and supporting the body's own anti-inflammatory and antioxidant processes.
No single supplement does all of that. The protocol does.
What Each Product Brings to the Protocol
Volcanic Detox is the starting point. Heavy metals accumulate in fat tissue over a lifetime and are a direct inflammatory trigger. They may increase insulin resistance, promote fat storage, and compound the chronic inflammation that drives lipedema forward. Volcanic Detox uses micronized zeolite to bind those metals and carry them out through the bowel. It is the clearing step: getting out what may be actively fuelling the fire before anything else. Adequate hydration is essential in this step to promote clearing and lymphatic drainage.

Everyday Support runs alongside Volcanic Detox from day one. As the body begins clearing toxins and inflammation starts to reduce, the nutritional deficiencies that have built up over years of gut inflammation and restrictive dieting need to be addressed simultaneously. A body that is trying to heal with depleted vitamin D, insufficient B vitamins it cannot methylate, and low selenium and magnesium is working with one hand tied behind its back. Everyday Support replenishes those gaps so that every other process in the protocol has the resources it needs to function.

NAC Plus. With Volcanic Detox and Everyday Support having established a base, NAC Plus enters the Protocol. NAC targets multiple mechanisms all at once: helping reduce inflammation, supporting immune function, acting as a precursor to glutathione, and helping with insulin resistance. The citrus bioflavonoids in NAC Plus offer additional support for vascular health and capillary integrity. Together, they help create a more favorable environment for compression, lymphatic drainage, and movement therapies to be effective in the detoxification process..

Flora Balance completes the picture with its support of gut health. Eighty percent of the lymphatic system surrounds the gut. So when the microbiome is imbalanced, the gut becomes inflamed with a ripple effect of systemic inflammation.

The lymphatics then often bear the consequences of this with impaired drainage, worsened systemic inflammation, and reduced absorption of anything else. Flora Balance supports the gut environment so that the rest of the protocol can be properly absorbed and the lymphatic system is operating with less burden.
The Sequencing Logic
The Protocol is not arbitrary. Volcanic Detox and Everyday Support begin together (but not taken at the same time of the day) because clearing toxic burden and replenishing nutritional deficiencies are foundational and need to start immediately. NAC Plus is introduced within a few weeks as the second phase because its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects may be most effective once the gut environment is improving and the body has the nutrients to support immune and detox function. Flora Balance supports gut restoration throughout, becoming even more important once dietary changes are underway.
This sequence reflects the clinical approach in Dr. Jonie's practice: stabilise and clear first, then support the body's own processes to work more efficiently. Each product creates better conditions for the others.
How the Products Support Each Other Specifically
The relationship between Volcanic Detox and Flora Balance is worth noting directly. Zeolite binding clears heavy metals, but it also interacts with the gut environment. Flora Balance helps support healthy bacterial balance and gut lining that supports both the excretion process and downstream lymphatic health. Together they address heavy metal clearance and gut restoration as a paired process rather than two separate concerns.
Everyday Support and NAC Plus work as a nutritional and anti-inflammatory duo. Adequate nutritional status, which Everyday Support provides, supports NAC's ability to produce glutathione. A body that is nutritionally replete may generate antioxidant protection more efficiently, making NAC's substrate more productive.
Flora Balance and NAC Plus also both contribute to supporting gut barrier integrity. NAC supports tight junctions in the gut lining. Flora Balance supports the microbial community that keeps the gut wall intact. Addressing gut health from both angles may help reduce the systemic inflammation that spills out into lipedema tissue.
Practical Notes for Using the Protocol
Hydration is non-negotiable throughout this process. Lymphatic fluid is more mobile when the body is well hydrated, and the excretion of heavy metals and toxins through the bowel requires adequate water to function properly. Front-loading water intake earlier in the day rather than in the evening will support both.
Volcanic Detox should be taken at least 30-60 minutes away from other medications and supplements because zeolite is a non-selective binder. The other three products can generally be taken together.
The protocol is designed to run for a minimum of four weeks as a dedicated detox phase. Many women continue elements of it on an ongoing basis afterward, particularly Everyday Support as a daily foundation and NAC Plus during periods of higher inflammation or stress. Flora Balance, also, is often continued long-term for women with persistent gut symptoms or food sensitivities. Some women report good results utilizing the Volcanic Detox a bit differently - taking it daily for a week and then 1-2 days a week for 3 months.
What Women Notice
The changes women report during the Protocol reflect the different mechanisms at work. Improved energy is often the first thing noticed, typically from Everyday Support addressing B vitamin deficiencies. Reduced bloating and digestive discomfort follows as Flora Balance supports gut balance. Over a longer period, reduced firmness and tenderness in lipedema tissue and improved response to compression and drainage therapies reflects the combined effect of heavy metal clearance and NAC's anti-inflammatory support.
Individual responses vary. Lipedema is a highly individual condition, and the degree to which each mechanism is relevant differs between women. But the breadth of what the protocol addresses means there are very few women with lipedema who would not benefit from running it.
